Introduction of Nahna Maak:

Nahna Maak “We Are with You” is a beacon of hope and compassion, founded in 2011 with the heartfelt mission of supporting orphans in Lebanon. Over the years, this dedicated NGO has empowered children to access public education, lighting the path to a brighter future. As the challenges facing Lebanon have deepened, “We Are with You” has expanded its commitment, recognizing that food security is a pressing necessity for many families. In response to the overwhelming hardships brought on by conflict and displacement, the NGO now provides essential food rations to families in need, ensuring that they receive not just support, but also sustenance. With every meal and every school enrollment, “We Are with You” embodies the spirit of solidarity, reminding us all that together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Two Main Activities:

  1. The NGO Assists orphans in their education endeavors
  2. The NGO has initiated a food distribution program that serves all vulnerable individuals who have fled Violence and insecurity.

Why we do this?

Amidst the challenges, Lebanon’s spirit shines bright, reminding us that hope is a seed that can flourish even in the toughest of soils

At our NGO, we are driven by a deep sense of compassion and responsibility to uplift those who are most vulnerable, particularly orphans and families facing dire circumstances. We believe that every child deserves a nurturing environment, a chance to learn, and the opportunity to build a future filled with hope. By supporting orphans in their educational journey, we aim to provide them with the tools they need to thrive. Simultaneously, our food distribution efforts address the immediate and pressing needs of families struggling to make ends meet. In times of crisis, access to nourishment is vital for survival and dignity. Each meal we provide is not just sustenance; it’s a reminder that these families are not alone in their struggles. Together, we strive to create a community where love, support, and compassion pave the way for a brighter tomorrow for everyone.

20 volunteers and two distribution trucks are responsible for preparing and delivering rations to the displaced in the refugee centers.

Donations:

Our funding so far has largely been based on the association’s members and a few friends who have trusted us to achieve the objectives we set for ourselves. The expansion of our activities has necessitated reaching out for donations from friends of Lebanon and especially from the Lebanese diaspora in various countries such as Mexico, France, and the United States.

With the hope that Lebanon will soon regain peace.
